About Wannie

Wannie Hinton is a woman who has committed her life to Christ for over 30 years and chose to walk in the highest call of a woman, that of loving her husband, children and being a chaste keeper of her home. She was married to M.T. Hinton until his death. She has two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Wannie attended Hampton Rhodes College in Virginia, served many years with Christian Women United Ministries and as a Bible study teacher. She is co-owner of FayLee's Interior Design and is employed in the healthcare industry.

Lillie Portis Hinton collaborated with her mother-in-law, Wannie, and co-authored “R U Looking?” after being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. She has a BA in Economics/Accounting from Tougaloo College, Tougaloo, Mississippi. Lillie volunteers at her local church and several nonprofit organizations. She has over 10 years of combined bookkeeping, accounting, auditing and tax preparation experience. Lillie currently works in accounting in the healthcare industry.
